Stella Creasy, who leads the Labour Movement for Europe, has issued a warning to Andy Burnham regarding his timeline for addressing potential EU reintegration. According to Creasy, the Greater Manchester Mayor has a six-month window to begin concrete actions on this issue before the upcoming Labour Party conference. This pressure follows reports suggesting that Burnham should not delay his stance until the next general election cycle. By setting this deadline, Creasy aims to prompt a more immediate engagement with the pro-European agenda within the party ranks. The call for action highlights ongoing internal discussions about the United Kingdom's future relationship with the European Union and the strategic positioning of prominent Labour figures ahead of the party's major annual gathering.
