The Polish commentator Łukasz Warzecha was denied entry into Ukraine and issued a three-year prohibition from entering the country. Warzecha, a contributor to the right-wing publication Do Rzeczy, reported that officials cited security concerns as the basis for this decision. The journalist was attempting to cross the border to participate in a study visit coordinated by the Mieroszewski Centre and the Ukrainian Institute, an organization linked to the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The incident occurred while he was traveling to Kyiv for this collaborative professional program.
